Hello my name is Sandy Ransom and I am a loving dog mom to a Standard Poodle named Libby. My family and I welcomed Libby into our home almost three years ago after bringing her home from a breeder located in New York. This was my first time breeding Libby and we welcomed 7 puppies into the world on February 25th, 2018. I am located in South Orange County and I would love to hear from anyone interested in bringing a Poodle puppy into their loving home.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
After we get your Puppy Application & we think we have a good Poodle match, in order to have your name on our wait list, we need to have a puppy application and your deposit. Waiting list placement or reserving a puppy requires a $200 Nonrefundable Deposit.
Choices of puppies will go in the order of deposits received, so the sooner that we receive your deposit the higher up on the waiting list you will be for your pick of puppies. The balance is due 10 days before the puppy is scheduled to leave for his new home. This is so the puppy is ready and prepared with vaccinations, health checks, puppy packets, etc.

The cost of the puppies is still being considered based on the litter size. However prices will most likely range from $500-$800.

Puppy Placement Process
All of our Poodle parents are AKC registered. We place all of our puppies without AKC papers. This is to help us place our poodles in PET Homes Only. In almost all cases, only breeders want papers.

There are many unethical breeders out there that do not care for their dogs or will not give them lifetime homes. Since we cannot judge who is ethical and is not, we only place our poodle puppies in PET HOMES.

Placing puppies without papers helps keep our puppies in homes where they will receive the attention and care that they deserve. We will show you the AKC registration papers of the parents when you get your puppy, since all of our poodle Parents are AKC registered.
We reserve the right to refuse to place a puppy to anyone at anytime if we feel it's not the right fit.
Forever Homes
We are located in South Orange County, and would love to meet you at our home for pick up of new puppies.

We do not ship the puppies due to the stress it places on a young pup.
Logistics
The health of our dogs and puppies is important to us so we take every precaution to protect them.
For this reason we ask that you visit us online via Facebook for the puppies first 4 weeks of life. We will be photographing our puppies regularly, and post photos of the available puppies on our Facebook page (link provided below). If you are interested in visiting after the first four weeks please feel free to e-mail any questions or inquiries.
Thank you for helping us protect the health of our puppies!

Is the Standard Poodle the best dog for you?
If you are looking for a dog that is extremely intelligent, good natured and fun loving, the Standard Poodle should be at the top of the list. These dogs are so smart they actually learn and understand many different words.

Standards are great with people that have allergies to dog hair as they do not shed. Your house will stay much cleaner with a poodle living in it. They come in many different colors such as White, Black, Apricot and Silver. Poodles can even be found in multi colors otherwise know as Parti Poodles.

Standard Poodles love to be with their people, they are happiest when they are following you around the house and sleeping in your bedroom. If you want a dog that you can leave in the backyard for hours at a time, a Standard is not the best choice and you will have one unhappy dog on your hands. They will be sure to let the neighborhood know of their displeasure by barking excessively and causing a scene. These dogs are too intelligent to neglect, they thrive on attention and will reward you with loads of affection.

Standards are a durable and strong breed that make great walking and hiking partners. They will be protective of their family and alert you when strangers are near. Yet, they love kids and get along well with almost any other pet you may have.

Standard Poodles are proud and have an air of royalty to them and they will return the love showered upon them many times over. If you talk with people that have or have had Standard Poodles in the past, you will be hard pressed to find someone who does not have something positive to say about this breed.
